*Huggles* You deserve a good summer break, full of relaxation and love time. Call in sick a lot! I mean, why not!? It's not like you'll be working back there again, right? So there's no need to protect your reputation or anything... and spending time with family and just 'detoxing' after 5 months away is important. You'll get sick if you don't, simple as that. <3

That is *so* sucky and you should tell them what's what. They can't make you work that much, especially when you signed on for a certain number of hours and when you've told them when you can not work. You should definitely call them like you're planning to do and make sure they know that it's non-negotiable when you can't work.
And call in sick! A lot!

I hope things get better for you. This is your summer - you should enjoy it! And spend time with the people you love and have missed and just take a break after your crazy Galapagos adventures. Working is good because money is good but when you have to miss out on everything else - everything that's a 100 times more important - it just isn't worth it.

(P.S. It wasn't until I was halfway through your post that I realized that Ross is a store. I thought it was a person and I was all 'Who is this ass hole?!' I so missed the boat on that one.)

I agree! After two phone calls, I hope it will all be resolved tomorrow. *fingers crossed*

Haha the Ross mix up makes me laugh. Apparently Ross is a chain store all across the US except the midwest. Weird huh?
