Helen just made a pasta

with olives and tomato and capsicum and baby spinach with lots of olive oil, lime juice, oregano and feta. It was very yummy. She is now curled up on the couch with the kitty

Yeah, she got there. Apparently Jeanette Winterson has turned into some kind of climate change freak, which is sad. She's pushing the barrow that poetry can help . . .which is sadder :P

This is sad. Perhaps some enlightened archaeologists should tell her of the real situation.

Or someone sane should tell her that poetry cannot help.

hey, Dad was right about the electricity thing leaking even when you don't have an appliance switched on... I had a hair curler plugged into the wall for two days but the power off and the appliance itself off. When I went to unplug it, I realised it was slightly warm. Then I picked up the other end of the cord and got an electric shock. Not a bad one, just a, "Woah, Dad was totally right" kind of shock.

Just thought I'd let you know this important information in case you ever decide to curl your hair :-)
