Ah, I remember I saw one of those on photojournal. I think it was the first or third one. At the time I almost commented to ask if it was CGI or heavily photoshoped. But now I see it's not and it's fascinating. Great work! That cave looks positively surreal.

Thank you! Depending on the position of the sun over the canyon, the sunlight filtering into the slots creates many shades of different colors.

Sounds interesting. Will you post others pics taken at different times of the day?
Do you know what's the history of this place (if it's natural, made by man..)?

The sun rays can get into the slot canyon during 3-4 hours per day only because the slots are very narrow and the canyon is pretty deep. And this is time to make pictures.

About history - it is 100% natural formation.

ello, just came across your canyon photos via the Photo Cafe community. i wanted to say this series of images is stunning, you've really caught the light and the texture, and all beautifully composed. they look abstract at first, and fabricated as someone else said. amazing what nature can do.
