BLIMEY!

Have decided I hate weddings. That's right. Bloody hate everything to do with them, including my family who seems to be under the impression that this is somehow their day rather than mine and Tim's. In all fairness I shouldn't say "family", rather just MY MUM! The woman has completely gone nutters with outlandish ideas. I prefer a simple, yet ( Read more... )

I wouldn't blame the two of you if you decided to run up to Scotland and get married over the anvil (do they still use that term?) just to avoid all the fuss, then have a nice reception later.

I'm still tickled that you gave Tim a motorcycle for his birthday; brilliant idea!

Yes, they do still use that term. Well, my mum does because it's exactly what she DOESN'T want us to do. LOL

I couldn't resist the Harley. It quite seemed it was whispering "Tim would love me" right in my ear. ;)

I have always been under the impression that weddings (not marriages) are for the family and not the bride and groom. You see the bride and groom hardly get a chance to enjoy the whole event. They are busy standing with shaky knees hoping they remember their vows. And then they have to stand some more while each person whom they hardly know comes along to, hug shake their hand and congratulate them. By the time it's over they are completely exhausted and can't even think of wedding night sex. You see the ceremony is for the parents of the bride and groom. Something they've been looking forward to since you were a child I'm sure. Am I making sense or do you just want to bung something at my head? haha. Either way I look forward to seeing you and he up there. You are a lovely couple.

Haha, not to bring her spirits down or anything, eh? My experience speaks differently, you're right on the knees though.

I'll hold you up, Tim, if those knobby knees are shaking. LOL

We'll hold each other up, but you'll have a dress to disguise the shaking knees.

Don't let your mother get you, love. Remember that it is something about us and it is something you should be content with, not a stressful occasion. As soon as we get back to London we'll take some time off and we'll ride that bike all you want, sweet'eart.

Also, Mo [Madonna] arranged a day at her spa for you tomorrow, after lunch or any other time you're in L.A and feel like it, personally I think it would do wonders to you right now. *smiles* I love you, we'll work things through together.

I am just going to have to stand my ground with the woman, love. It was actually quite comical now that I think about it. My brothers were re-enacting it out in the backyard. "Hels! I thought you were going to body slam her!" =) Some time off when we return will be just the thing, I think.

Oh, Goddess bless Madonna! Yes, I will take her up on that. I will relax while being rubbed down and think of you. ;)

*laughs* I'm sure your brothers will help you out as far as your slightly stubborn mother goes, in the end they know that all that matters is that you have a great time, and I promise you my love, we will have a great time.

Then you can get back to our room and do the same for me. *slow smile*
