I've been feeling kind of Panama homesick lately, therefore I'm going to post some pics of last year's trip
And what I best way to start this mini tour than with the Panama Canal! They have a new mirador and museum, which you can see for free if you show them your cedula. I've actually never been through it :(
Grandma let us borrow her car. She was a taxera on the side....or not.
Ah, the Bridge of the Americas. Or as Christina and I called it: The Brigde of Doom because I knew most of the city pretty well, but I don't know much pass the brigde. Whenever we were lost, we tried to at least stay away from the bridge. They are building a new bridge (is it ready? I saw it from the plane as we landed, but it was still under construction) although this one looks amazing at night, with all the lights, especially from the cosway.
Oh my good friend, El Raspado. Yara endulges in the 25 cent treat of the Gods. Seriously, it's good stuff when you're out and about it the blazing heat of everyday.
Breakfast at the Lung Fung, which boists the best Dim Sum I've ever had.
Back when Tia Yeya was in power, she kept some mighty looking garzas!
