It is a shame that Eames has such a low opinion of Arthur--it makes Arthur TOTALLY INSANE because, hello, he is the MASTER at dealing with awkward workplace situations, he has been working with the Cobbs for most of his adult life! He knows how to play along with stupid, gross, degrading things! Even if they involve pretending that Eames is his LOVER, which Arthur forces himself to IMAGINE in DETAIL because he is SO GOOD AT HIS JOB.

OH, TRUTH. really being forced to imagine eames as his lover is a deeply horrifying task. of course.

Eames should totally have considered this. i mean, once you've dealt with dom cobb's issues, a little dirty talk about handjobs in the teachers' lounge is nothing. if arthur could have dealt with ALL his problems simply by curling up on a chilly bathroom floor and sucking quick hickeys into his own legs then his life would be a lot less stressful than it is now.
