I avoid writing works in progress for all the obvious reasons (pacing is impossible, I usually don't really figure out my stories until I finish them and then have to go back and fix them by ripping out and rewriting big chunks, short attention span means I might wander off, etc. etc.) but! The other good things about WsIP is that they let me back into things that I am super nervous about writing a little more easily, because I can tell myself it doesn't count. I know it doesn't make a lot of sense to be nervous about writing things under a pseudonym on the internet for strangers, who, frankly, can go screw themselves if they don't like it, but...there are things that I think "I can't pull this off! SHIT!" and that makes me want to at least try to pull it off, and that is why the section I am writing right now has the word clitoris in it about 90000 times and I am feeling like UGH DO I REALLY WANT TO DO THIS GODDAMN YOU LAID BACK GERMAN OC LADY.

This is not the chapter that this poll is about, but the chapter that comes..after...I think, and I also wrote it last night while mostly asleep and haven't reread it yet, so. could be bad.
