That meme about calendars and the first sentences of journal entries...you know...
I only started LJ in April (it feels like so much longer! But I
guess a lot has happened since April)
April: OK, I've finally given
in.
May: So today was fun. AP English was a blast...
June: I was
helping Jonathan look up quotes and behold! I have only come across
more sappiness.
July: Hi from China!
August: yaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy!
my internet is back!
September: Yesterday was my last day of
work.
October: This has to be really quick, because I have to leave for
some orientation crap soon.
November: Indie in D Bar yesterday
December:
Lectures ended wendesday, hooray!
My first sentences are pretty
indicative of the times, I guess. May, the month of APs, June and
writing superlatives/graduating, July in China, August and my
supertraumatic!week without internet but other than that nothing much
lol, September seeing you guys off, working a bit, gearing up for
college myself, October beginnings, November frivolities, December
endings.
Overall, a great, enjoyable year. I loved how it wasnt like the
last 13 years when I had in nine months in school, a three-month
break. rinse and repeat. Second semester senior year
doesn't count as school :P
2005 was momentous for me because I think I really came into my
own. I'm really happy I ended high school in a really comfortable
position with great friends and experiences. This year I
questioned myself and my priorities, cast aside logic and reasoning,
made big decisions, threw myself into them, and stuck with them.
Probably the thing I'm most proud about :)
Resolutions? Same 'ol, same 'ol. Keeping in touch.
Exercising. No more using the fact that I'm in England and
surrounded by European chocolate as an excuse. Oh! and a new one:
making 2006 as spontaneous and fun as 2005. I don't want to fall
into a monotony that school easily brings again. Which means,
planning spring break and summer holidays soon :)
