halloween-y
my computer is fixed. thank goodness. to celebrate, i'll post some pictures.
(aaron got his hair colored. it's pretty cool. a stripe colored in fire colors.)
i've had a lot of fun in classes this weekend. we got to spend half of each class talking about halloween things. i drew a lot of pictures of ghosts, vampires, mummies, zombies, witches, black cats, graveyards, coffins, jack-o-lanterns... it's been good:) we were told we could spend 15 minutes of each class doing non-english related games. i never seemed to get around to that, though, as i spent so long teaching halloween words, and they got so into the halloween crosswords and anagrams. the school also bought candy for us to hand out, so i made my students say "trick or treat" before i'd give it to them.
tomorrow night, there'll be a halloween party at meemee's. meemee works at aston 2 with some of us. her place is actually called "kiwi corner". it'll be a dress-up thing, but i'm not sure yet if i'll dress up. jen and claire are going as siamese twins. clara's not dressing up. i might go as a ghost as they appear in japanese horror movies.
i have an adult class in a few hours. i've already talked about halloween briefly, in my holidays class. i'm thinking of bringing my laptop and playing music or showing videos. i'll decide in the next hour or so, i guess. maybe i'll go on youtube and see what kind of halloween videos there are. i have some halloween music too. listening exercises.
