My girlfriend is an only child, and she was better off as a child than I was. She got adequate attention, and finaces were never a problem. It seems to me, in our society, that families with lots of kids have more issues due to lack of money and kids not getting enough attention. Competing with siblings as apposed to bonding as a family.
