Most family historians are scanning or photocopying their forms and putting them with their family history records for future reference.
You've got me thinking too
10 years ago I was living in Winnersh with OH and three children
20 years ago I was living in Woodley ditto
30 years ago I was living in Reading with OH and pregnant with first child
40 years ago I was at home in Reading with Mum, Dad brother and sister and grandmother
50 years ago I was at the same house in Reading with Mum, Dad, Grandmother and little brother was on the way

10 years ago - High Wycombe, with a husband & 1 child
20 years ago - Canterbury, dating my husband-to-be
30 years ago - Forest of Dean, living with Mum, Dad & 2 sisters
40 years ao - escaped the census by living in Zambia with my family!
