Yikes! They grow up so fast.

and I agree about the different age. Though the books were set in the early 90's.

They surely do grow up too fast.

Though the books were set in the early 90's. I found that out when I started looking online. A bit weird really to set it so definitely when she didn't have to. *shrugs*

I know. I guess she just set them when she started to write them. In book 7 it says James and Lilly's date of birth and death. I took heart in the fact that they're set in the 90's meaning the kids aren't that too far off in my own age. :D

It depends. JKR is only a few years older than I am, and I had a "boyfriend" when I was 7. I remember my first kiss when I was 9 (I didn't even know the boy. I think he did it on a dare).

Then there's my son who said he had a couple of girlfriends when he was in kindergarten, LOL.

I know what you mean, lol. I just feel weird when he comes out with stuff--and he's so serious about it too. *freakssomemore*

I'm definitely not for kids dating early. I mean why do they want to grow up so fast? Childhood happens only once and nobody should miss out on it.

I couldn't agree more, hun, but I don't want to be an evil mum by raining on his parade. Ah well, I'm sure it'll be fun for him.

Eleven?? That's completely OMG to me, but I guess that's what you get for going to an all girls school.
