So I came in to uni for class at nine today, only to realise I'd written it down wrong and I don't actually start until 10.

I have an hour to waste, in other words. So I did the first fic commentary, for dystopiarcadia

Glee is me! That is such a funny commentary -but now I am faced with a dilemna: should I write botanical Tez/Fuji/Yuki OTP or 15!Sanada? Both are so very tempting (gotta take a break from the angst, though I'm already doing that with the last chapter of Midnight Maneuvers I'm writing, where I have to deal with hungover!Niou whining at Yagyuu XD )

There's an easy answer to that question. You do both. *nods*

I'll just be here in the corner, waiting. ;)

They are so not fourteen. :-P But anyway, I'm entertained by your commentary, especially the botanical OT3. Oh, and out of curiosity, who are the other possible Ravenclaws? I thought about it, and I couldn't figure out who it would be. They're all big with the Gryffindor stubborness and desire for glory, it seems.

Shinji was my other definite Ravenclaw. He's so the TeniPuri Luna Lovegood. The borderline ones were Fuji and Oshitari. Fuji is very, very borderline Gryffindor, though, and Oshitari is just hard to place overall, though I'd say he's very borderline Slytherin. Why, yes, I was totally grasping at straws to get at least some people in Ravenclaw by then. :p They're all way too much with the bravery/hard work/ambition, definitely.

Aww, Shinji. I have no idea why I like him, but I really do.

It's interesting because when I was trying to figure out who you were talking about, I contemplated Inui and Yanagi (neither of who really fits). I didn't even think about Fuji and Oshitari. I think Oshitari's too much of a Slytherin, but Fuji kind of fits, at least before he has his "I will dedicate myself to tennis!" revelation. *shrugs* HP houses are pretty flexible things, anyway. You only have to be very brave or very smart or whatever on certain special occasions to be put in a particular house (see for example Neville).

Oshitari comes across as almost too... lazy, somehow, to be pure ambitious Slytherin. Which is why he gets to be part Ravenclaw. I admit that it's very much grasping at straws, though, especially considering that last match of his with Momo in the manga.

Fuji... Could go either way, really. Though to be honest, I'm actually leaning towards Gryffindor for him. I've actually seen other people who have speculated about this try to place him in Slytherin. Which fits not at all. Ambition+Fuji=Not an OTP at all. I guess it's the fanon stereotype of sadist!Fuji.

Inui and Yanagi are both Slytherins, imo, though. It's not at all about the actual knowledge when it comes to them - it's about actually using it. As a side note, Inui is the only Seigaku Slytherin. The others are either Gryffindors (Ryoma, Momo, Eiji) or Hufflepuffs (Tezuka, Oishi, Kaidoh, Taka-san). A large part of Rikkai is Slytherin, though.
