So. The other day, qem_chibati prompted me to write an Azumanga drabble. Which was great, since I'd wanted to write something for this series for such a long time. And then, once I got started, I couldn't stop. And then, I dug up that half-finished Azumanga/TeniPuri crossover that's been sitting on my HD forever while I've ignored it and tried to pretend it

My families right now giving me weird looks since I sort of burst out laughing... well more like cackling really. o.o; Don't feel ashamedmthis is really interesting and fun to read!

This is just so perfect with the interactions. XD These are some of my favourite bits:

Sakaki and Kaidoh running into eachother with their love of cats and the kindred spirits comment was love, since both are known for somewhat gruff exteriers - yet both are complete softies on the inside.

The way that no one believes them when they say they aren't dating sounds oh so true for both schools. XD

Inui's stalking was too funny to imagion, the way that he ocestrated the meeting I'm sure would be good dating.

Kaidoh's comment "What, just the one?" is too funny. =D

Fuji contemplating matchmaker should make Yomi happy, and Tezuka's exasperation was just the perfect way to finish it off.!

Kaidoh and Sakaki would so be best friends forever. :p

The thought of Fuji as matchmaker scares me, though. o.O I think he just figured they had a somewhat similar relationship. Thinking anything else really would be too frightnening.

But then Kikumaru had told him that story... Something about a girl, and a tennis, and a dream and a wish for approval and heartbreak and... He couldn't quite recall the details, now that he thought about it.

Only it had been very moving.

Poor Tezuka! falling to the same trap that Kaidoh did in the anime! :D :D lovely lovely lovely. am so glad i checked out this fic (remembered your name from another fic, i think...) :D

Usually crossovers aren't my cup of tea but this was absolutely divine. I cracked up laughing, especially at this...

Kaidoh looked at her for a few seconds before his his brain stopped trying to get that statement to make sense and he blurted out his spontaneous reaction to it. "What, just the one?" he asked, honestly astonished.

So funny in such a lovely way!!! I always thought there was something similar between Sakaki and Kaidoh, (and also Yomi & Tez for some reason) and you've done this in such a clever delightful way!! ♥

The characters do seem to have some kind of counterparts from the other canon, don't they? Kaidoh and Sakaki would so be best friends forever, and I suspect Momo and Kagura would get along as well. What I really wanted though was for Osaka to meet Shinji, but I just couldn't find a way to fit that in. :p
