(no subject)
Well... It's been a while, huh? ^^; Since I last drew something, I mean. Rating G. Photoshop + Wacom. Quasi-realistic. Around 5 hours.
The executioner. I thought of using "assassin" as a term to describe her, but I don't really think that it would actually describe the role she plays. Cold, unemotional, having no doubts and always doing what she's told. I'm still looking for the name for her. I wanted something simple and not fancy, but no name seems to fit her so far. I wanted the name to contrast her personality and role, but I've run out of ideas already >.>;
I've been trying to work on a story, something that incorporates a few, quite stupid ideas of mine, and this is a side effect it. What I used this time, a kind of a theme, is Azrael. The story has nothing to do with angels :P Azrael is just a codename here. Why to use the name? The interesting thing about Angels of Death is that they have no power of their own. They don't decide who is to die, as it can only be decided by God. Angels only carry out the God's will (found on Wiki, do not quote me on that :P). And as Azrael is the best known Angel of Death, his name was used (uh... actually what pronouns should be used while talking about angels? Taking into consideration the whole genderless stuff? .__.;)
Anyway, I'm trying to visualize some ideas, but I'm not quite succeeding in following my original concept ^^; Playing with the idea of angelic wings and angels in general. By no means I claim to be original here ^^;
I'm frustrated - my ideas don't even look half as good as I imagined after I've finally drawn them :(
Obsessions spotted so far: secret organizations, assassins, conspiracies, people on the run, people overusing their authority, people discovering secrets they would prefer to not know.
