Where Dark Things Sleep

Gwen was born with a gift - the ability to see future. There is one rule that all people like her are taught - whatever you see, you can't interfere. Gorgeous story! Such a "superpower" is probably one of the worst abilities to have; I can't help feeling very sorry for Gwen. I love the way she tries to go against the "do not interfere" rule and how complicated it actually is. Love the scenes between Gwen and her parents (her mother forgetting her made me sob T_T) and Gwen and Kenneth. Gwen is a real hero; just trying to change things knowing that it might lead to drastic consequences takes a lot of courage <3

I agree that's probably the worst "superpower" you can have *nods* Knowing that something will happen and at the same not being allowed to change it might drive some people insane. Assuming they aren't like most Seers and just follow the rules.

Personally, I see her in the grey area. If saving one life takes the other life away, in some way she's dunno "playing God". Not always the ones to die will be bad people, so it's huuuuuuuuge responsibility she's taking on yourself, but also a huge ethical dilemma. Is what she's doing really right or not? That's for the readers to assume, I suppose.

Thank you for reading :) I'm glad you like it.
