What a lovely story! A few years ago I was totally opposed to any and all RPFs, till I got into Supernatural fandom, and that ruined my resolve, mainly because Jared and Jensen at times seemed to encourage it. I'm still hesitant about RPF Glee, but this was adorable and respectful, IMO, and believable. I think your additional casting of the girls was inspired!

Thank you so, so much! It honestly means even more to me when people tell me they're not huge RPF fans because like ... to know they're not a huge fan of something and still were able to enjoy it, that's just the highest form of praise in my opinion, and it makes my heart feel so happy. (Jared and Jensen are TOTALLY adorable together, by the way.) But seriously, this means everything to me, thank you SO much. <33

You're welcome! For me, if RPF is also AU, it's a little easier to read, too. I've read some non-AU Colfer/Criss stories, and whether I read the story or not largely depends on the summary. I think a lot of it has to do with whether it seems to me that the author is being respectful of the actors, or not, and I don't think I could begin to explain to someone else how I define that. I just know some summaries turn me right off, so I have sense enough to NOT read those stories, rather than getting offended at the writer for daring to write something that crosses my personal line. But I do love it when an author seems to be on the same wavelength as me, so this story was very satisfying. :)
