Kat and Alfie are the love story of Eastenders (which is a British soap). They were recently blackmailed by her Evil Gangster Ex-Boyfriend, who Kat jilted at the altar several months ago. He said: give me your money, or I will keel Alfie dead! But Kat, because Kat is a) poor and b) not terribly bright, decided to sleep with him instead.

Alfie found out, of course, and the end of their marriage is nigh. It's all terribly angsty and sad and woe :( *sniff*

These soaps are terribly amusing, I must watch! *wonders if they play Eastenders on American TV*

It's fabulous! I never know whether to laugh or cry at half the episodes, but it's very addictive. The plots are not as ridiculous as some of those American daytime soaps, but fun anyway.

And his full name is actually Alfie Moon ... <3!

Cave Hill is gorgeous, actually most of Ireland is. It's funny how many beautiful natural areas we have on our doorstep (Cave Hill, Glens of Antrim, Coast Road, Mournes etc) that I'm forever forgetting about, and looking abroad instead. Tourists are always photographing the City Hall, for example, yet I never look at it. You don't see the beauty that's right in front of your eyes sometimes :)
