As everyone probably knows by now, jkrowling.com has been updated with new HBP information, once again behind the door with the Do Not Disturb sign!

1. Go to the Extras Room. Wait for Peeves to blow through. Make a note of Gobb Lynn Security Specialists phone number (it's pinned to the top right corner of the board. If you don't want to wait, then I'll tell you it in a minute *g*).

2. Go to the infamous room with the door. The Do Not Disturb sign is gone, Huzzah! Open the door. You will be faced with a pitch-black room.

3. Directly across from the very bottom edge of the window ledge, click madly until you find a lightswitch. It should be about a third of the way across the doorway from the left.

4. You will see a dart board. Pick up a dart. Throw them in the combination 713, which you may recall is the number of the Gringott's vault that contained the Philosopher's Stone.

5. You will see a safe. Enter the security specialist's phone number (it's 30 27 23!)

6. Hey Presto! Click on the sheet of paper, and it will come to you....

SPOILER SPACE:

IT SAYS:

(He) looked rather like an old lion. There were streaks of grey in his mane of tawny hair and his bushy eyebrows; he had keen yellowish eyes behind a pair of wire-rimmed spectacles and a certain rangy, loping grace even though he walked with a slight limp.

Ooh. It's interesting how much info we can drag out of such a short passage.

I think we are supposed to believe that this is a good guy. The Gryffindor symbolism is glaring obvious. I'll be honest, he reminds me a little of Moody - the limp, the idea of bushy hair and the emphasis on his eyes.

The idea of him having the grace of a lion, and the looks of one too, make me think this was/is quite a physically strong man. Which, of course, brings to mind Aurors etc. Then there's the limp - how did he get that injury? During the first war?

Keen eyes imply intelligence. Their yellowness reminds me of movie!Hooch (I don't remember if canon!Hooch has yellow eyes?). Hawk-like, of course, so this is a man who is possibly observant and sharp. Perhaps I'm letting my imagination run away with me (I SO AM, AREN'T I?), but I can't imagine that this is a man I'd want to cross.

So, is this our Half Blood Prince?
- say hello to Merlin's Heir, everyone! ;)

DADA professor?
- I rather hope Snape gets the DADA position this year. Plus he really REALLY reminds me of Moody. Been there, done that. :\

Order Member?
- he seems like he's aged enough to be one of the 'Old Crowd' :)

People are already speculating that this must be McClaggan. I doubt it. Like I said yesterday, I don't think that McClaggan is anyone of real significance.

Ehh, it's not much really, but still a nice little snippet of the book. I hope she posts more as the weeks go by.

I need to go study now, plzkthxbai. *rushes away*
