I had problems in logging on for a few hours but it did correct itself - it seems to be after the maintenance work the other night. Fingers crossed it'll be very temporary(!)

You're probably right - it's probably not a coincidence that it happened right after that maintenance downtime :-\

I tried the cache-and-cookies advice, and logging out and back in again, and fingers x'd it seems to be ok again ... for now! :-)

Helio, I'd try what the other commenters have said, especially signing out of LJ, clear cache and cookies, do a hard refresh (shift+reload page) then sign in again. What a pain LJ has been lately...

As far as I'm concerned, I'm having trouble posting comments or replies, I have to do a page refresh to see my comment displayed now.

Thank you! I did, and it seems (hopefully, hopefully) to have worked, at least for now! If it happens again, it's good to have something to try :-)

It is indeed a pain, and I'm so grateful that other fans have immediately given helpful suggestions!

Oh noes! If it's any consolation, and if you can even see this *g*, I've been having major problems too for days now - today seems a bit more stable, but still not good. I'm sure they'll fix it. One day! Hang in there... we shall all meet again! ♥

Hey snail! Well I tried what halo and unbelievable2 suggested (up there at the top of the screen) and it seems to have unclogged the pipes at least for now :-)

I'm so grateful for helpful people, it would be too awful to be cut off from fannish things!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh darn! That would be a right pain! I'm guessing it's probably a temporary situation. I hope you're back with us soon.

A total pain in the arse, yes indeed! Thanks to the helpful advices up there at the top of the thread ::looks up:: it seems to be sorted, at least for now - my fingers are very firmly x'd!
