Oh, well done, Spawn #2! And aren't you a proud supporter/gopher/encourager/nagger! (Otherwise known as a "parent")?
Thank you for sharing!

I am proud of him, but I honestly think that if I'd known all those years ago how much I was going to stress out ... *g*
Thank you for coming by with such a lovely comment!

And it sounded jolly good to me, that bit where the clarinet goes quietly-wooble-wooble-wooble-wooble-watch-out-here-it-comes AND a uuuuuuuuuuooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaeeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii ! Not that I know anything about it, but... yeah, jolly good to me. *g* And I bet he looked smart in his beautifully ironed extra black trousers and all. *vbg* Hurrah Spawn#2!
And hurrah you, for bringing Spawn#2 up to be able to go wooble-wooble-wooble-wooble-watch-out-here-it-comes AND a uuuuuuuuuuooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaeeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii so wonderfully in the BBC Proms, of all things!
I'm all big-grins here for you, you know. *vbg*

I have no idea what he looked like, in fact, because the place is so damn big (and we were right on the opposite side, and right up in the gods) I could barely see him *bg*
Still, I reckon the worst of the faded patches on the trousers were at least partly covered up :-))))
Eh, he's done it all himself - I mean, I know a big part of that is getting the chance to even have a go, that's true. It's so unfair that relatively few kids even get the chance to have a go! Still, I guess we'll just go on trying to be vaguely encouraging ...
Thank you for being all big-grins :-) Hope Perth is treating you well, and goes on being full of the beautiful and the amazing!

It's just knowing they're on the spot, and knowing how much it means to them ...
I'm sure I'll grow out of it ... eventually *g*
