Hey, thanks for posting the pictures, it's always interesting to see a progression like this- it's amazing how much a 10% drop looks like visually.

Doubly so when it's significantly more than 10% fat drop, since I'm also putting on muscle like woah.

Rest assured, there will be a full animated gif when I'm down to maintenance level. (I don't like the word "done", because I'm never going to quit training.)

170 is a bit low for your build, I think. Especially now that you're working out regularly, the muscle will put you at a healthy weight of 190, easily.

But hey, looking good!

Thanks! Yeah, as I'm building muscle under the fat, it's rather looking more like I may end up pretty muscular after all is said and done, so long term goals may change. My trainer's really good about reevaluating things as my workout comes along, so we'll play it by ear.

You know....I think seeing you weekly lessened the impact of the weight loss. That's probably why I didn't notice how much it's actually been! Those pictures are a great idea to remind those of us who see you that often of how much you've lost!

Damn, the things you miss on the other side of the country.

Lookin' pretty good there man. I got a weigh when the missus was getting her pregnancy weight in, it came up at like 272, but it looks weird because I've got a good bit of muscle mass as well (aside from the gut that just won't go away).

Though, it's good to hear that you know you have to keep up at it. It'd suck to see all your hard work fall away.
