And now for something completely different....

She hadn't been able to decide whether Aizen was angry, or worried. It was probably both, but it could be neither. She'd seen him angry before, but it hadn't been quite the same as this. She'd never seen him worried.

But this was about his kids, and since he'd sent all of the Arrancar out to find them, he had to be at least a little bit worried.

Grimmjow and the rest of Skite had gone in the Ragnarok, searching the major ports in Dalmasca and Dorstonis. Stark was heading up the search in Nabradia and Rozarria, unfortunately for him, accompanied by Szayel. Halibel was in Bancour with Lilinette and Luppi, and Ulquiorra and Wonderweiss had been given Lionel and Landis to search.

Nel was with Nnoitra, and they'd started in Lesalia, specifically in Lindblum. They were starting with the capital cities, and places of particular interest to sky pirates. Especially to sky pirates with Aizen's genetics, which was why they were bothering with Nabradia at all. Most young sky pirates wouldn't be interested; there wasn't a whole lot there for someone out for the fun of it, but these were Aizen's kids, so you couldn't be so sure.

The Arrancar were all staying in touch, with each other as well as with Aizen, so when it was determined that they had been to Luca but were not there now, everyone knew, and when the information came through that they might have moved on to Rabanastre just before the Arrancar were scrambled, everyone was expecting Grimmjow and Yylfordt to come up with something.

But they'd moved on again not long before, and the trail disappeared after Balfonheim. They'd been there the day before, and moved on again. At least this time, the Arrancar had a better description of the airship the kids were in, although Nel had to firmly inform Szayel that she didn't want to know what he'd done to get the information.

So they started again, trying to pick the trail back up, or even better, be waiting for them once they arrived, and Nel and Nnoitra ended up back in Lindblum.

Compared to most of the others, Lindblum's airship port was very, very nice, golden balustrades and red carpets making it feel just as much a part of the castle as it really was. She also expected that Nnoitra was glad to get out of the small airship they were in. It was normally used for the grocery run, and only comfortably carried two people, with a maximum capacity of four if you liked pretending to be sardines a lot. The chairs were too small for him, and he'd only fit into one of the bunks if he was folded in half. The ship wasn't really designed to be slept in, which was why Nel had forked out for an inn or a travel agency whenever they were near to one. She'd have managed if she was on her own, or with someone shorter, but she couldn't bring herself to be that mean to Nnoitra, even if he did deserve it half the time.

One of the greeters at the port met them, and asked "Is this your first time in Lindblum?"

"No," Nel replied, with a smile; if the answer had been yes, they'd have been offered a map of the city and an explanation of the structure and transport, "but you might be able to help me anyway," she said. "We're looking for four teenagers, one girl and three boys, in a four bunk compact airship with some very long scratches to the paintwork down the left hand side."

To Nel's amazement, the greeter replied quite brightly, "They arrived this morning."

Nel positively grinned, even though she couldn't quite believe it, and asked, "Do you know where I can find them?"

"Well, they went to the Industrial district, but if they're not there, they might be in the Business District. They parked for long stay, so they'll be here at least overnight."

"Perfect," Nel said, "thank you very much for your help."

After she walked away, she turned to Nnoitra and said, "Let's wait for them at the inn. We can get in touch with the others from there."
