And, I think it's sucking my soul and poisoning my body slowly. That a good feeling. XD
Manhattan is incredible in my experience... though it is very spendy to live there and I would imagine a high-stress place to exist as well. I love the Seattle area and, frankly, Iowa City is a really nice town if you're looking for somewhere a little quieter and more open. Of course, I'm hugely partial to anywhere with access to the sea and will never, hopefully, live in the interior of the country but my priorities might not be your priorities.
Lastly and bestly, if the winter isn't anathema to you, you might consider Anchorage. It's unbelievably beautiful in Alaska, back-yard access to the wild wilderness, mountains to climb and places to explore. The air and water is clean. Cost of living is somewhat high, but paying off the legislation is apparently cheap.
And how, darling, is it sucking your soul? Does it have a straw? I do hope it has a straw. Otherwise you might end up with LA cooties. And how it it poisoning your body? If it's by needle, I hope you had it sterilized.
I'm considering New York... only problem with the northern areas is that I'm bizarrely partial to sunlight. I need lots of it.
I'm considering NYC, Washington DC, and Chicago. Chicago I favor for it's rumored lower cost of living and stronger links to jazz and good food. DC and NYC are more for the job opportunities.
Well, sir, it would be quite a treat for me if I found I was living in the same city as your gracious self. To be honest, I've had a (non-romantic) soft spot for you since we met when you were intoxicated on the steps of the great hall. I dare say that everyone I've told that story to has developed a soft spot for you as well. Either that's because I am an excellent story spinner, you're an excellent person, or both. Let me know what you're thinking.

If LA is on your list you can strike it and begin a process of elimination <3.
