yeah, i was talking with a facebook friend about the band and thought what the hell, i'm writing old stories here anyway!

guess it's not vague if you know who the people are haha.

lol well you definately saw them in a different way, since you know you got them out of california. the few times i saw them outside of LA (where everyone made such a big fucking deal about it) were my favorites.

i was just thinking about these guys the other day because it was someone's famous mommy's birthday.

You have such a style, it's wonderful.

Also, you write about music, something I find it so hard to put words to, but you capture the feelings so well.

I was a superfan of a group when I was in high school. I eventually worked my way into their graces, became trusted by their management, followed them to different states and different countries, wrote about them for magazines (my first pro writing gigs), and then just when I was starting to leave that all behind for college, two months into my freshman year, they played a show in the city where I was going to school and ended up staying in town for several days when their manager got such bad food poisoning he had to be hospitalized the day after the show. I lost my virginity that night. It was what I had been waiting for for two years.

It was worth it.
