No, not really. I just never had the backbone to do such. Then I found out, it wasn't so hard. I got tired of the disrespect of some students. I'd be lecturing, and they'd either be talking to their neighbors, or in the case of a couple students, they'd just get up and walk right in front of me, then act all stunned when I'd tell them to take their seat.

Yesterday, I think I called more parents than I ever hope to in my life.
