I just saw that the Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players are going to be in Orlando this Friday, the 15th. I have no money, and my car's practically shot to hell and back. It barely gets me to Gainesville the three days a week I have to go there ( Read more... )

Ooooh, me! That will be my Christmas Pressie to you as long as I can buy the ticket on Ticketmaster.com. See, I'm still in India & cannot get the money to you, but I should be able to buy you the ticket online.

Ok, so if I buy it in your name, should you be able to pick it up? Wait, I can't see the 14th performance in G'ville listed on ticketmaster. If you could figure out how I can buy a ticket online, I'd love to get it for you...

The above post was me but I forgot to log in, just checked it on amazon to make sure I was thinking of the right band. I'd love to see them and can handle the driving and the gas but I've got to double check on one thing. Friday night I normally keep my daughter and her two friends and Saturday night their mom keeps them... if she's cool with switching I'd love to go with. Might be able to help a portion with your ticket either way.

As you can see, my good friend purchased my ticket, so if you'd like to meet up for dinner in Gainesville Thursday, then hit the show, that would be great! I'd hate going alone.

Checked with Monica but it's to late this time to switch nights... sucky :(

If ya hear of other good shows down there in gainsville let me know, I don't tend to check those venues and I love going to shows. I still kick myself for missing Fugazi when they played there years ago.

Merry Christmas, my friend! I purchased a ticket online for you & all you need to do is turn up with your picture ID. They say you also need the credit card & reciept. I can't send you my card, but I can forward you the email reciept. I said you'd call for it & will also try to email the peeps at Common grounds explaining why I will not be turning up to claim the ticket. I hope you enjoy the show!

Jack Chick's "The Next Generation". My icon was voted "Scariest Avatar on LJ", for some reason. :)
