Exactly! I was watching in absolute awe of the level of coordination and planning that HAD to have gone into it. It was sad to see the Stardust go, but, dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmn... What a way to take it out! :D

I'm going to repost on my own journal. I actually saw this a few days ago on MSN.

It's so sad...I *loved* the Stardust...it was one of the few remaining "older" casinos in Vegas.

I had heard it was going to be torn down, but I was hoping for one more chance to be in it before it happened.

Oh well.

Yeah, as I said above, it was sad to see the Stardust torn down, but man oh man.... Vegas really DID give it a fitting send-off!
