Yep! We still need to watch him, because he's still very sick. But at least he's HOME!

O.o ALL of that and he igored it? Oh my lord! That person shouldn't be practicing ANY kind of medicine! I wish I could bottle my vet or even my friend Tara (who is a vet assistant) and ship them to you! That's insane!

I have Toby and Salem on Purina Pro Plan Indoor Formula and they seem to like it just fine. I know they make a urinary tract formula also. It's a bit spendy (tho not as spendy as Science Diet Prescription!) but well worth it!

~much loves~

Yay! that he's home!

Canned food is a good way to get more liquids into him, too. That's what my mom has to do for one of her cats. And that's what I'm doing with one of mine as well. Not to mention that they like it well enough.

Yikes! :(
I'm happy to hear that Tiny is doing better and is home with his momma though. I know that I would be a basketcase if Kira had to stay at the vet.
((HUGS)) to you and Tiny!
One of my best friends had the same thing happen with her cat. It took a long time to get his urinary tract completely normal but he is very healthy now. In the beginning, one thing that she did to help him take in more water was to mix baby food with water on a saucer and have him lick that up.
The other thing was that she got one of those water fountain type bowl that recirculated the water. Apparently, cats are a very particular about the water that they drink being fresh and pristine.
