It is. Especially amazing watching it from the official viewing sites. The shuttle is like 8-9 miles away then, but you can still see it crystal clear, even details. That just emphasizes how massively HUGE the shuttles are! So far, my favorites have been crack-of-dawn launches, as the sun is coming up. :D

Depends on where you are. From the official viewing sites, no, you don't have time to get that all out. From the next town away, however, you do. From where *I* live, you don't really hear it at all. But the view is still amazing! :D
