so for the 2014 Captain America/Iron Man Holiday Exchange I gave two prompts, one of which was for an Inception tech fusion. I specifically asked that the PASIV tech be appropriated into the MCU/616 universe, rather than a crossover or retelling of the movie take place.

I totally stalked your LJ while I was writing, and after the fic was posted, and I saw this post and it just made my WEEK. It was such a great prompt to work with; I had SO MUCH FUN. And I'm really glad you liked it enough to rec it here too!

I'm really really glad you enjoyed the prompt. There was this "uh-oh" moment after I submitted, going, "is this too specific? Did I just ruin the challenge for whoever gets this? HALP I'VE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE SOMEONE TELL ME IF I DID SOMETHING WRONG" but you totally allayed any and all fears by taking that shit and running with it. To which I am eternally grateful, no lie.

(also, hay, were you in The Real LJ Idol? Cos I swear I've seen your username back when I played in that, in. Uhm. 2010/11 or something. I was edincoat back then?)
