Well, I have survived both hospital and Christmas! The latter was even rather pleasant - we had the by-now traditional my-sister-was-too-excited-to-sleep-last-night midday argument, with much shouting and slamming of doors, but it passed relatively quickly and the rest of the day went without a hitch. *Hugs* I'm glad you are out of hospital and that you had a good Christmas. It must be very hard to adjust from managing a condition to dealing with having 'recovered', I hope that the process goes well. Your surgeon sounds, interesting.

I watched that Britain's Best Bakery programme, it was really good! (It also spawned a whole host of Baking AU ideas.)

Glad to hear it went well! Yay for food (also nutrients going straight into the bloodstream, as they're more efficient, but they're nowhere near as much fun). It must be weird having to adjust to different eating habits, but it's excellent to hear that things seem to be working okay.

Yeah,I found the concept of nutrients being piped directly into my bloodstream through a tube in my neck deeply cool, in a writers sort ofway. But food is more delicious.
