Ask me any question about love (read: love, not sex), and I will answer honestly.Although I've already fielded strange&awkward sex questions today (read: Athena's Circle, when one of the members spontaneously decides to make sure everyone in the room "has had their cherries popped". Thank goodness for not being the only virgin in the room, though.

Question One; can I see myself falling in love/having a romance with anyone I currently know? Well, having never been in romance-love, I'm really not sure about the first part, but I could see myself getting romantically involved with several people I know. Getting into a good romance with people I know? That's a smaller category. (Like, Bekki and I? If we had ever gotten involved, there would have been several casualties on both sides x_o.) I could probably date Jenny -- we pretty much spent 90% of our time together for, like, a year. I dunno. It's a hard question -- cause if I knew the answer, I'd probably be going after whoever I wanted. You know?
And as for what it means to be in love? I'm really not sure, like I said, I've never been in love (that I've been aware of). I think it's a combination of friendship, needing someone, physical attraction, and some kind of deeper, spiritual-type connection.

A sillier, shippier question: what kind of love do you like to read about? I'm sort of a sucker for the "they love each other, but they're both a little too screwed up to make it work" kind myself.

And what do I like to read? I like "deluding themselves into thinking they're not in love", I like screwed up and royally insane love, so-called 'star-crossed' love and love that might go against canon but does it well.
What I don't like -- which might outline better what I like -- is pairings treated as established, known, and accepted by everyone in fic when they're not even there/just subtext in canon. I don't like love without problems; it's no fun to read the perfect love story. Fluff is okay as long as it has a slight bit of non-fluff. Kind of like super sweet candy with a teeensy sour taste. But I love love that turns out well in the end.
