Nyx was a very attractive woman, no doubt about that. Achilles noticed, but he could be a very practical man. He eyed her up and down, once, and made an assessment: it was a very impractical outfit for January in New York.

"Goddess," he began, tone respectful and mindful of her former position. "It is cold outside. You will come to notice these things now that you are mortal." He was being useful! Achilles was, truly, very naive and lost in this new and modern world, but at least he was familiar with the every-day concerns of being a mortal person. He would prove helpful to the goddess in her time of confusion. As one who had always been favored by the gods, it was only fair that he honor them in return, in this perilous situation. Even the annoying gods who had dishonored him, he would still respect. Maybe not Apollo, though. That was crossing the line. Okay, even Apollo.

Quite happy to be of assistance to a god who hadn't done him any harm, though, he made the suggestion to Nyx: "Have you a jacket or coat?"

"No, I do not, Godde -- Leila," he said, managing to correct himself. "The name I am to go by is Alexander, though, if we are exchanging aliases." He averted his gaze respectfully as she changed, even though she obviously didn't care, it was only polite not to appear an ogling ape. He doubted that the New Yorkers would show her the same respect, especially downtown when it was a Friday night: the drunkards. It was a good thing he would be there to protect her from unwanted advances.

When it seemed to him that she had finished he turned back to see the new outfit she had chosen. Well, the coat at least would keep her warm. He nodded his approval.

"Are you ready, Gode -- Leila?" He held out an arm to escort her toward the stairs, thinking it must be very difficult to walk in such high shoes.
