man, fuck pitchfork! i've been dissapointed with them ever since the new website overhaul (design, content etc) and now they've given the new decibully album, "sing out america!", a measly 6.8. whatever. they didn't even get the album image correct. fuckers. i love you aaron vold.

gracias mohe.

i'm not too concerned. pitchfork gives a lot of records i like bad reviews (or, more ofthen than not, none at all) and a lot of records i'm sure i wouldn't enjoy one bit great reviews.

it is funny that they put the wrong image, though.

Sheamus Fitzpatrick is playing at Tom's Garage on Friday, and barring any plans coming up I may swing down to catch the show. I'll let you know, don't know if you're booked or not rock star.

What a crappy review. Am I stupid, or did they also mix up who's from the Promise Ring and who's from Camden?

And yeah, I haven't read anything decent on there since they change the format of the site. It's really disappointing.

bj played in the promise ring as a touring keyboardist/percussionist/back-up singer and ryan played bass on tour with them as well as the wood/water album. both were in camden. i am a dork.

How've you been sir....it's certainly been quite awhile. Did your album ever come out? I just came across your mp3s on my computer in an old folder and I'm listening to them now. Keep in touch.

Jeff

hey jeff. good to hear from you. as far as my album goes, it's all recorded and i even have all the packaging sitting at home! for one reason or another i've been putting off this album for ages and the thing keeping me from putting it out now is finally not my fault. see, the 16-track we used to record is having technical problems so we can't mix down. but once it's fixed we'll mix and master and the sucker will be out. i would say april but just to be safe call it may. take care!
