I was told my double appeared first... and he appeared because I let my own despair consume me. It seems to me like his appearance brought on the others.
Amaterasu had been napping in the next room when she heard Shinju's voice. Lifting her head, she perked her ears up. Even though she didn't quite understand what the boy was talking about, she could hear the sadness and guilt in his voice.
Getting up, Ammy shook herself and quietly strolled into the room the blind boy was in and sat down next to him, her head in his lap.
[it seems she's listened to his words, and is simply running them over in her mind. There are a few very long moments of silence, even some static before she speaks, quiet and almost inaudible.]

[if there's something she's learned how to hear in his voice, it's a smile. She faintly smiles back, just a small pull at the corners of her mouth, regardless of whether he can or cannot hear or see it.]
Then that's enough for me; I don't know why you feel the need to offer yourself to everyone like that.

Just because yours went first doesn't mean you're to blame Shinju. You shouldn't let youself be a constant downer for something that's not your fault.

I won't try to stop you from believing what you want.

As I stated, Shinju, the blame rests on the City.

"It's alright, Amaterasu. I'm fine."
