There's apples, and I could slice some cheese. That was Sam's favorite after-school snack, and it's really simple. *And yes, typing out Sam's name took her several minutes and a breath to steel herself with*

"He's gone." Kaede turned and walked out of the empty hospital room. She exited the hospital, starting to walk the winding sidewalk of the city.

There really was no way she could visit him anymore. She didn't know where he lived... and he probably didn't want to be around too many people just out of the hospital.

She reached up and brought a hand over the bandages that covered her horns. "Normal people should rest after they've been hurt."

With no other option, she figured that she'd just go home. It's not like he had a phone number or anyth...

"...I am so stupid." She whispered, before reaching into the pocket of her skirt and pulling out her communicator. The pink-haired young woman sent out her message, it containing only one word: "Shinju?"

Shinju blinked when he heard a voice coming from his comm, and reached over to it, bringing it to his ear.

"Hello?"

Looks like she called the right person. "I was visiting you at the hospital, but you weren't there."

"Did you make it home alright?"

"Ah, I see," he replied. "Well, you're welcome to come actually visit. My apartment's in the southern district."

He let out a sigh. "Yes, I finally got back. I'm so glad to be back in my own apartment again."
