Because of the stupid U.S. Open golf tournament, which is being held in some southern Westchester ultrarich town (Mamaroneck, I think, but does it really matter?), it took me an hour and a half to get to work this morning - 20 minutes to get down the Taconic as usual, and then 70 MINUTES to go down the EXIT RAMP and go 4 miles on route 100. I

hey erica. i know how you feel. the us golf open is being held next door to Purchase, and they're using Purchase parking lots to park. therefore, the entire campus is clogged with tourists and golf fans. BOOOO. Happy Early Birthday!!
