so, i ended up seeing esthero last night, even though i almost totally forgot i bought tickets/when the show was. i had to cancel work and ruin my perfect attendance record for the month, but it was quite worth it

yeah, her opener was this really belty singer from ajax (accompanied by one guy on guitar.) it was alright, for the first couple songs. there's only so much you can hear about not wanting to be "friends with benefits" or some shit. esthero kicked it, though. i hadn't actually heard the new album, but i dug it.
