i spend half of my life entering contests. today it paid off. i get to go to the premiere of good luck chuck in freaking LA next week. i'm taking my mom.

update: i moved into a new place (it's awesome!) and i got a bird. her name is carrie and she's sweet. and i have one more essay til i'm done school for the year. need six more 4000-level WMST credits and then i have an honours BA. it's about time.

so, last night i went to see the strokes at ricoh colliseum. it was effing brilliant.

i also took drugs and ended up lying in bed all night, unable to sleep, or breathe (due to cat allergies.)

i just finished watching the last two ep's of america's next top model, so i'm caught up and can finally sleep now.

i got me some acne medication today. i can feel it working i think, i'm ecstatic.

yesterday morning i woke up to a phone call from my mom, reminding me to set my clock forward and informing me that my 17 year old cousin had fallen off a balcony the night before and died early that morning.

tomorrow is the wake, then the funeral is on wednesday.

not good times.

i actually gave myself whiplash from headbanging last nite. by myself.

hilarious, but painful.

i really need a new discman. my walkman was a useful enough back-up until it starting eating all of my tapes.

today i bought my isis ticket. sweeeet. i'm pretty bummed about not having strokes tickets, though, even though they cost a lousy fifty bucks.
