Appearing with their New Year messages, NEWS will talk about year 2009 with topics such as "Work", "Appearance", and "Love".

"Appearance"
ムキムキのガリガリ[1], ガキガキのビチビチ[2], I want to become someone like that. ... but if I must say, how I will turn out to look like is unpredictable (lol). Even though I am considered the type who never changes his appearance, but actually it's because I don't know when's the timing for change... I think that's the biggest reason. This time, seeing "RESCUE~" as an opportunity, I made a really big change. So in 2009, how my appearance will become, it's yet imaginable ne.
"Work"
A lot of people say that I'm a late bloomer type of person. A fortune teller told me the same thing before too. Even though I feel completely fine to have been told so, but when will that happen... that I do care a little bit (lol). But, if I find that there is something I am not capable of right now, "I am a late bloomer," if I think of it this way, my mind can ease. Actually, I think I have been lucky. To be able to debut this way, I think I was really blessed. But, I am not an early/quick bloomer... that I agree. Anyways, "being fretful/impatient is a NO".. that's how I think.
"Interests"
Apparently it's still clothes na. Whenever my fashion style leaps ahead, I'd get picked on. Like the big sunglasses that are popular now, I was already wearing them before they got popular, and all the members were like "why wear such big ones?" and laughed at me. But everyone wears them like this now. Everyone, you have forgotten about this haven't you (lol)?
"Love"
Because I tend to be someone who falls in love at first sight, this year too, I want a lot of "love at first sight" and always have the feeling of happiness (lol). My love at first sight instances are, for example, when I ride the train and someone makes me think "kawaii na (cute)", it's only like that ne. But to approach/accost and such, I definitely won't do that. For I am someone who knows the way to make effective use of time (lol). This "kawaii (cute)" I am referring to is not only the face. The clothes she wears, the atmosphere about her (her aura), the way she talks with friends, it's this type of an over all impression. Lately, スタッズ and ライダース(rider jacket)... like Tegoshi('s style)? Like a girl's version of Tegoshi's cool, this type of cool girl, I think I would quite like.
"NEWS"
To end/begin a year with a concert... it's an amazing start ne. But I don't have any grand desire/wish. At the end of '09, "since last year, this year has gotten a little better"... if I can feel this way about every year that would be nice. Because, if it's "This was the best year", wouldn't next year be scary (lol)?
