In this episode: More birthday talk, lol ~ talking about gifts from Hikaru & Master Hits staff. He also answers questions about what type of swimsuits he likes to see girls wear and how he has once appeared as an outcast amongst the members because of a type of portable game device he didn't own o.O

1. Opening Talk
-- Massu mentions what he said in the previous week (about not receiving a gift from Hikaru). He says that he finally got a birthday gift from him!! Hikaru gave Massu a pair of sunglasses, but Massu says that it looks more like a diving mask (lol). Massu laughs and says that the sunglasses also look like Superman's eyes. When he came to do the radio recording, Hikaru asked Massu, "You haven't used the gift I gave you right?" Massu then says that he can't imagine how it'd be like if he had used it (lol). People wear sunglasses to try to make their face/identity less obvious, but if he wears those that Hikaru gave him, on the contrary, he'd become much more noticeable on the train right? (lol) Then Massu laughs and says that it's a gift that doesn't quite make him happy (lol) It's expensive yet useless (lol) ***
-- Then Massu talks about him and some of his other friends, saying how for his friends' birthday parties, he actually didn't bring any gift either. He then jokingly says that he's the type of person whose presence would suffice (lol). Then for his birthday this year, only Hikaru and another friend had given him gifts~ the other four haven't~ At the time, their excuses were that they were still making Massu's birthday gift (lol). Massu says that even though he is happy hearing that, but at the same time he gets a bit nervous thinking about what kind of 'gift' they might be making for him. (lol)
*** Notice, Massu and Hikaru are very good friends, so he's not really using a mean tone here. PLUS, Massu actually wore those sunglasses when he went out with Kei-chan. Kei-chan wrote about it in his J-Web (translation available on another of my LJ post)... there's a cute KoyaMass talk there.
2. This Week's NEWS: After the 'Sun' and the 'Stars', Summer Time PV can finally be seen at the karaoke places now!!! (qh: yes, Sun means "Taiyou no Namida" & Stars is "Hoshi wo Mezashite" ^^)
3. Brain Master
(qh: utako says sorry here that since she did the repo 2 weeks after the show.. she had forgotten what's said in this section and only remembers that it was funny~ *pats utako-chan*)
4. Question: The listener mentions how last year another listener had asked what type of swimsuits Massu likes to see girls wear, and Massu answered that he likes shell bikini. So, the listener wants to know if Massu still likes shell bikini?
-- Massu says that speaking of which, isn't there a big problem with swimsuits now? Then he talks briefly about the swimsuit problem they had in Japan prior to the Olympics games.** The conclusion he reached in the end: he still likes shell bikini. (lol)
** If you search online, you can find articles talking about that problem, how Japanese swimmers had contracts that only allowed them to wear swimsuits produced by domestic companies, but because a foreign company has produced some record-breaking swimsuits that people revolted against the ban on that company. In the end, they let the swimmers choose what they wanted to wear.
5. Question: The listener said that she forgot where she had read this but a member once mentioned that when Massu uses cologne*** he would put it on 8 different places.** The listener asks if it were true.
-- Massu says that he only sprays 3 times (or at 3 different places)... and asks the listener back, "Who said that?" (lol)
*** qh: or perfume/fragrances o.O *shrugs*.. i don't have the recording, can't hear what exactly was said.

6. Question: The listener asks that when Massu has a girlfriend, if he would call her by her surname, name, or nickname?
-- After Massu hears this question, he looks at the letter to check her name, then smiles and says, "I would call her Yuna**~" (lol)
** Yuna is the listener's name XD.
7. Question: Does Massu say "Boku 僕" or "Ore 俺"?
-- Massu says that he basically uses "boku"~ When he was little he sometimes used "ore", but after growing up he changed. Then he says that when Hikaru talks to Master Hits' staff he uses "ore" a lot~ Even though to the elders one cannot use "ore", Hikaru would still naturally uses it. Massu says that most of the time he uses "boku", only occasionally uses "ore"~ He also says that when he was little he would intentionally say "ore" with a slightly different pronunciation or accent. (lol)
Note: "ore" is more impolite, "boku" is more formal.
8. Ending Comments: Massu says that in one month's time, NEWS's Concert DVD will be released! (note: this was back in July)
-- This was NEWS's first Tokyo Dome concert! Then Massu again reminds people that Summer Time PV is available at karaoke places.
-- Afterwards, he comes back to the birthday topic. He says that Master Hits' staff gives him a birthday gift every year, and this is the fourth year~ Massu recalls that there was once, all NEWS members were really into a particular portable game device, but Massu was the only one without it so he was the only one who didn't play. After he told that to the staff, they bought one for him as birthday gift. But just when Massu finally owns that game device, he finds that the members weren't into it anymore (lol). Massu adds.. actually that's the only portable game device he owns even till now.. and he has never bought games for it (XD), and that he only rarely charges it to full battery. (lol) Then this year, the staff bought him a watch~ it's a watch designed to help people sleep~ He explains that one only wears it during sleep; that aren't there two types of of sleep?** This watch is known to be able to adjust the stages. Massu then comments that it's not good at all.. how it seems like the watch would automatically adjusts his biological clock.. that if and when he wants to sleep more he might just want to throw it aside angrily (lol).*** Plus, the manual is really thick.. (lol) But Massu still says thanks, and that he will keep it very well.
** He is probably talking about REM vs. NREM.
*** Please note again that he wasn't saying these in a really irritated tone. He's kind of funny like that; he actually appreciates them a lot.
