Things are good and busy

We're about to get to a week or so lull in the house purchase.  We still need to purge some stuff that we don't want to move.  I haven't shouted out on FB that we're buying the house.  I guess I want to make sure the papers are signed before I start telling more folks.  That'll be on the 22nd if all goes according to schedule

Now you got me thinking about all the stuff I'll have to sort out, and throw away when I move. Good Gawd Awmighty! I have a ton of books! And at least 200 LPs - yes, long-playing records, the 12 inch vinyl kind! How am I gonna get stuff like that to Nicaragua? Then there're my posters, like Che (purchased in '68 or '69) and the one that came in the Beatles' "white album." And that sweater Mom gave me for christmas in '78...and....

Where'd ya go?

Yeah it's been a whirlwind! We're thinking based on other nearby rentals somewhere between $1650 and $1800/month. Some of it depends on if the tenant will mow the lawn (or if we need to pay a service to do it), and how much the property tax changes when it is not homesteaded anymore.

We'd love to have it rented by mid October early November. We'll see!
