Second Guessing and Other Irritations

So we've been in the new house a month already and I really, really like it here.  Still haven't hung the pictures, but I'm really not on fire to get to that.  What I really want is for the repairs and touch ups to be completed on the old house so we can get it rented

Have you looked into a property management company dealing with your old house for you? We've rented from the same company for about 6 years. They call the owner for approval if something needs repair but they do all the legwork, and the work to get the houses/condos rented. They take a cut from the rent every month as a fee.

That is an idea we considered. They usually get 10% of the monthly rent. Since we're not sure how much property taxes will go up without the homestead exemption, I'm pretty sure we'd be renting at a loss at that point.

Right now I'm really leaning toward selling. I need to go over what the realtor suggested. Lance may change my mind though. I'll see what he thinks when he gets home from work.
