I've been asking my sister for 3 weeks what she wants to do for her birthday. Since her Bday falls between Christmas and New Years she always stresses and worries that nobody will want to celebrate with her. Lady, you're way too nice!! Like so nice that I think you're being taken advantage of. That wasn't a polite thing to do on her part in the least!

I was wondering if it was normal to feel a little put out. Lance said I should cancel, but she had already emailed everyone. I'd look like such a jerk if I did that.

I think it'll end up being fun. I'm SUPER glad that I have tomorrow off. It makes it easier to deal with the stress of getting ready.

Sounds like she doesn't treat you respectfully nor does she realize your generosity.

That may be true:) but it's not just me. It was also her boyfriend and my parents who helped pull it together. She did thank us all, but I don't think she got how much it took to get that together in one day.

I love her and she can be a blast, but I'm not going to host at the last minute again. It just too stressful.
