Sandra

Sandra has been my mom's best friend since college.   I've known her my WHOLE life.  When I home schooled, she was the person who sat there and monitored when I took every official test.  When I got married, I wore her wedding dress and tiara - 1960's vintage Victor Costa - beautiful!

Sandra is one of those people who is just simply part of my life

Oh that's just tragic. :( I'm really sorry for her & both of your families. Hugs to all of you.

It's really sad. She's still hanging on but is not able to communicate verbally anymore. It's probably a blessing that she's going so quickly. She wasn't going to get better and she's been in a lot of pain. We're all going to miss her very much.

I love how much I look like my mom. Lucky me!

Mom made it to Seattle around 12:30am. Sandra knows she's there but can't communicate verbally anymore. She seems to understand what's being said and is responding as best she can.

Thanks so much . We're all very sad, but she was in more and more pain every day. She went peacefully in her sleep around 3am today. We're going to miss her a lot, but at lease she didn't have to continue suffering.
