I went to my first Toasmasters meeting last week and I met some really nice people. I was a little to nervous to volunteer to get up and participate. I'm getting started on my 1st speech. Toastmasters remains one of those things I "should" do, but have never gotten around to doing.

Hey! I've been really lazy with LJ. I did OK with a random topic last week, and not so well tonight. I'm going again in 2 weeks and I'm scheduled to to a 5 min get-to-know-me speech. I have a ways to go, but the group is really friendly and helpful.
