Yes, like She-ra, Princess of Power. Like embedding the sound chip from your Atari 5200 into your synthesizer, and playing awesomely constructed electronic music songs. And better yet, these kids are home grown, right from the yucky city in which I live, which I am beginning slowly, to love to hate ( Read more... )

No, you are COOLER than that. Just add a retro-case of Marlboro Silvers (or whatever those cigarettes are that are made from, like, pixie dust, glitter, laudanum, and the blood of Neil Gaiman, and were created for you, specifically, to smoke in 1996!)

I think the fact that both you AND Clara are now residing in other countries says something about this one. My Canardian friend was here visiting this week, and it totally made me think twice about staying and "holding out" for any kind of real change here in the U.S.

U.S. politics seriously tugs at my heartstrings sometimes, and I become so reactive to it, largely because it just sort of makes obvious all of the ills of society all at once. And also due to the fact how big and important the actions of the U.S. are to the rest of the world.

I got excited with Obama not because I am a democrat (I think I am a left-leaning libertarian, if such a thing exists) but because he is so transparent, and speaks to us like adults. Also I think he would seriously work to improve the U.S. image to the rest of the world. It is a little irrational, I even gave him 50 dollars after he lost Ohio and Texas because I was so upset. I need to stop this, it's like an addiction. Like Marlboro Ultra-lights (which I think was what I smoked, haha). Did you know that Obama is totally addicted to nicorette? It's true! Which is why I wish he would win. :)
