i really want to see Martha Wainwright, and i keep meaning to save up the $60 or so, it's just that i have no willpower when i am presented with jewellery-making supplies....
eventually my mommy decided to cave in and fund this, but i'm scared that they've all sold out by now, and that if i call and ask i'll get laughed out of existence.
i haven't seen you at CoFA lately. what's been happening, honey?
I have a crush on a lady who hosts poetry readings. I wonder if she's the only reason I keep coming back to those? She's a writer who works at the History Center.
the thing about Yoshiko is that she's like my mother away from my mother- at least in that she's artistic and gives me the encouragement other people don't...
yeah, i admit, there are a few things that make my mother cool at times (i.e. she makes the best inbred pancakes, and is a huge fan of the boy-on-boy sex on Queer as Folk...) but i'm afraid most of the time this does nothing to ease the heinous-bitch-ness...

thank you, luvvie!
i'd heard of the reactive metals website, but i didn't have a clue it had resources on mokume. i was also amazed that there was nothing in my art-school library on the subject...
i spent all day working two mokume billets and i'm feeling it...
is life any better in your neck of the woods??? i hope you feel better soon!

I rather like Reactive Metals :) Do also check out their ring blanks - that's where I got the blank for this cool ring.
Life here ... well, I'm alive. Started my next Flagyl pulse, so the next several days will suck, but it must be done ::sigh:: Without it, I'll cut no more rocks, and that's unacceptable to me.

Martha Wainwright! Is coming performing soon (or now) in Syd and I have no money. *bother*
Anyway. Yes, hermits are fun. I have a novel planned in my head about hermits. I envy them all.
