day 6: had pasta with tomato sauce for dinner. this is my signature dish, the one i make the most (usually one time a week), and i'm getting really good at making it - tastes so good!
day 7: continued with the otolith reading. the otolith is placed in some kinda liquid i don't remember the name of, on a black surface so it's easier to read. this thing is then placed under a
microscope.
day 8: knitting day, tried to make the thumbs on a pair of mittens. didn't succeed, have to try again one of these days.
day 9: on sundays i often go down to the neighbourhood immigrant shop and buy vegetables. the vegetables there are cheaper, better and there are more kinds than in regular grocery shops. this time i also bought polenta which is pretty much impossible to get in even the biggest and best grocery shops!
day 10: met my mother. forced her to buy me these cute margrethe bowls. the smallest one is only 1,5 dl, there's an egg in there for scale!
day 11: my friend mari had some girls over for tea and desperate housewives of tv, but i forgot to bring my camera. instead, i took a picture while i had some more tea when i came home. i didn't use to drink tea at all, just maybe when i was sick. but during this last year i've started drinkin more and more - mainly because i've had trouble sleeping so i can't drink coffee in the afternoon anymore.
day 12: and then yesterday i made a
30-clove garlic soup.
